Local scientist Caitlin Armstrong was the lucky winner from a recent on-line survey of people’s views of Science Vale UK, a globally significant region for science and innovation. Caitlin, who works for Oxford Biotrans, on Milton Park, Abingdon, won a Science Vale branded iPad.

The Science Vale UK region has proven to be a good growth location for the Oxford University spin out company Oxford Immunotec. Now a NASDAQ listed company, it has outgrown two of its current manufacturing and development sites on Milton Park in just over a decade.

The latest construction work in the Milton Park enterprise zone has now started. The MEPC’s Park Drive East development at Milton Park is the start of a 12-month development pipeline for one of Science Vale UK’s largest speculative office and laboratory developments.
